So you want to be a medical professional. Unfortunately, there is a pretty arduous process required to become one. Even when you can officially kickoff practicing, you will still have to moveon learning for the rest of your life. You kickoff the path with a Bachelor of Science degree, and then move on to medical school.
Before you begin, try to generate some experience before you make a decision you might worry about. Volunteer at a hospital, community center or nursing home, and you will find out if your methodology is as straight as you think.
Once you get your Bachelor of Science, you will begin medical school. Graduation will get you a MD title, which stands for Medical Doctor. However, once you earn this degree, your journey is not done. It is just kicking off. You will need to find an internship, and a interesting period of residency training. Also, getting a residency is very arduous and one of the most difficult in the medical area.
After medical school you will require another 5 years in a dermatologist department at a university college. You will spend three years as a resident, which is a great part of your learning. You will also require an internship in one of the number of niche medical fields given to you. After this, and you finished the qualifying license examinations.
Once you are finally a dermatologist, your journey is not over. You must continue learning and if you ever want to change fields or choose a specific area, more learning will continue.
