Prolapsed Hemorrhoid Treatment - What Do I Do?

If you would have asked me 5 years ago "What is a prolapsed Hemorrhoid" I wouldn't have been able to answer. I knew that a hemorrhoid was something that hurt in the butt area, but couldn't give you any details. Until recently suffering from one myself which made me start searching for the best prolapsed hemorrhoid treatment.

First off lets get what a prolapsed hemorrhoid is, out of the way. A prolapsed hemorrhoid is a hemorrhoid that hangs out of the anus or an external hemorrhoid.

There are 4 levels of hemorrhoids:
# The first level is when the hemorrhoid doesn't protrude from the anus.
# The second level is when a hemorrhoid is prolapsed when having a bowel movement but retracts automatically afterward.
# The third level is when a hemorrhoid is prolapsed but can be inserted back into the anus manually.
# The fourth and worst level is when the hemorrhoid is prolapsed and cannot be replaced automatically or manually.

Hemorrhoids are cause by inflammation of the blood vessels internally around the anus. The vessels fill with blood and hang down. It is not definitely understood why the blood vessels get inflamed, but many doctors think that bearing down or grunting too hard contributes to the condition.

There are different levels of prolapsed hemorrhoid treatment as there are different levels of hemorrhoids.
# There are creams and ointments applied to the hemorrhoid itself to help in shrinking it.
# Warm sitz baths are a great way to help in getting rid of hemorrhoids.
# And the last step when nothing else works is to have the hemorrhoid surgically removed.
